Pershore Road South

Working with Jonathan Symonds Associates Walsh were instructed to work on a retaining wall on the Pershore Road in Birmingham.  The contract involved the rebuild and extension of a retaining wall. Challenges on this site involved managing the pedestrian access whilst working on a very busy commuter route through Birmingham . Adjacent to the site was a popular first school so site logistics were key to ensuring that the local area was disrupted as least as possible during the works.  Walsh finished this project both on time and to budget. During this project we worked closely with the design team and have a good relationship with them having worked with them on numerous projects. Within this project and working with the designer we were able to suggest  alternative methods of working which benefitted the client, along with our experience in retaining walls and ground stabilisation.
