The Brief
In 2024 Walsh Construction were appointed as Main Contractor on a complex scheme in Bakewell, Derby.
The works involved the reconstruction of a partly demolished wall and repair and restoration of a riverbank wall of mixed brick and stone construction. The area impacted by the works included a rough dressed rubble filled stone wall that had collapsed into the river taking with it a section of concrete slab footpath and ornamental garden border containing typical garden plants and shrubs.
